Chief Executive Officer of PRO BTP Group, Chairman of PRO BTP Health Observatory and former advisor to the French President on fiscal and digital issues.
After a first experience as a tax inspector in charge of bank audits at the Direction des Vérifications Nationales et Internationales, Hervé Naerhuysen joined ENA in 2004. Interested in fiscal and economic issues, he became head of fiscal forecasts at the Treasury, then head of cash management of the French State at Agence France Trésor. After a stint at the Autorité de contrôle prudentielle et de resolution (ACPR), where he reinforced the supervision of insurance intermediaries, he was called to the Office of the President of the French Republic, where he remained until May 2015. His portfolio expanded over time to cover all areas of fiscal policy, including issues relating to taxation, but also digital policy and entrepreneurship. He dedicated most of his time to enforce measures to trim public deficit and to restore the competitiveness of the French economy. He designed for example the Employment Competitiveness Tax Credit. He also contributed, under the responsibility of the French President, to fund and deploy the optic fiber net all over the country and to the success of the “Assises de l'Entrepreneuriat”. Finally, he was one of those who, along with Fleur Pellerin, launched the French Tech initiative.
Following his experience at the French presidency, he took over as CEO of PRO BTP group on January 1st, 2016, a non-profit insurance company specialized in health and life insurance for the building and public works sector.
