Meet Olivier Mathiot, General Manager

Olivier brings his secret recipe to 2050 by mixing his two experiences, as an entrepreneur who knows the different stages to scale a company, and as a seasoned angel investor, mentoring CEOs and pushing them out of their comfort zone.

Olivier is first and foremost an accomplished founder. In 2001, he co-founded PriceMinister, the leading French e-commerce platform, which was sold to the Japanese group Rakuten in 2010. He was appointed CEO in 2014, until he stepped down from the company in 2019 and became chairman of thecamp, a unique innovation center dedicated to the positive growth of private and public companies. Olivier is also a successful angel investor. He supported and mentored more than 40 startups in various sectors, like foodtech, fintech, marketplaces and mobility. Olivier is a powerful voice of the French Tech ecosystem: he co-chaired France Digitale, whose mission is to promote the emergence of global tech champions born in France, alongside Marie. Since 2017, he remained a board member and a vice-president of this organization, dedicating his energy to support inspiring entrepreneurs and VCs, especially those engaged in the Tech4Good movement.
