Meet Laurence Demus, Executive Assistant

Laurence Demus

Executive Assistant

After a business school degree, Laurence worked in marketing, assisting product managers in launching new products when realizing that marketing was not that fun, but assisting people indeed was. Back-office was her game.

It hit her that she would thrive helping people save precious time and focus on their core business. Three children later, she left the “Jeweler of Kings and King of Jewelers” to establish in Bordeaux. She eventually understood that self-employment would allow her to enjoy all aspects of life. Surprisingly, she also discovered a real market for her experience in France and the US. Initially, it was a tiny market, but meeting people worldwide from many different cultures made the difference. COVID-19 will prove later that working remotely is possible, can be productive, and still a source of added value. Assisting is also one of these positions where age becomes an asset, for it brings extensive experience in many fields and wisdom (lol), and it engages in building trustworthy human bonds. She could not have dreamt of more and has no intention to stop anytime soon
