Meet Matthieu Scetbun, our Chief Financial Officer

Matthieu is an experienced professional in evaluating numbers in Market Finance. Throughout his career, he has participated in the development of innovative financial products and models. His creativity and financial knowledge are a major asset for 2050.

Matthieu began his career in 2001 by joining the Credit Derivatives desk, then booming, at Crédit Agricole Indosuez in Paris. His future experiences led him to work as a trader/quant on Credit derivatives products for BNP Paribas and Merrill Lynch, while being expatriated to Tokyo and London. In 2007, he joined BlueCrest Capital Management to create the Credit Relative Value Fund in London, where he remained as Portfolio Manager until 2012. Now living in Geneva, his role became within BlueCrest and he became responsible for a new innovative strategy on Fixed Income Rates, a position he held until 2022. After a little over 20 years in the financial markets, he joined 2050 and brings his expertise in financial modeling and management, his knowledge, his taste for challenges, and his desire to build new models and tools.
